5 Star Improvements collects information you choose to send when you contact the business, request an estimate, ask a career or trade question, submit a forum-style question, or use related business tools.
- Contact details such as name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and preferred reply method.
- Project details such as address or service area, scope, photos, timing, access notes, budget range, and terms you provide.
- Career, vendor, subcontractor, or trade inquiry details such as experience, availability, location, references, and contact information.
- Basic technical information such as browser requests, logs, security events, and site performance signals used to operate the website.
How information is used
Information is used to respond to inquiries, pre-qualify and qualify project requests, schedule follow-up, maintain business records, improve the website, prevent abuse, and operate business communication systems.
Estimate information does not create a binding quote by itself. Pricing, schedule, availability, and terms require review and direct confirmation.
Google and YouTube OAuth
If a Google or YouTube authorization screen is used with this business, the permission is used only for business activity the account holder authorizes, such as preparing or uploading business video content to YouTube through the YouTube Data API.
OAuth tokens are kept only in business-controlled systems needed to run the authorized workflow. They are not sold. You can revoke Google access at any time from your Google Account third-party access settings.
Sharing and retention
Information may be shared with service providers needed to operate the website, email, hosting, security, scheduling, business records, and Google or YouTube API workflows. Information may also be shared when required for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or business-transfer reasons.
Information is retained only as long as reasonably useful for the inquiry, business record, security, compliance, or communication purpose.
Your choices
You may ask for an update, correction, or deletion of contact information by contacting the business. Some records may be retained when needed for legal, security, accounting, or legitimate business purposes.
